- Genuine French Oak wear layer (many companies confuse French Oak and European oak).
- Mixed floor board lengths 24" - 78", many 78" in each carton
- 4 mm wear layer (5/32") of French Oak - twice as thick so longer wearing than many engineered products out there
- 5/8" thick flooring - stronger than thinner floor boards (i.e. 3/8" available at many other vendors)
- Three wood layers in each board: The French Oak wear layer, an intermediate layer, and a waterproofed bottom layer
- Average 10 pieces of engineered French Oak flooring per carton
- Micro-bevel on all four face edges of each floor board, tongue & grooved, end-matched
- Dried to average 8% moisture content
- 7 coats of highest quality matte, polyurethane finish, including ecological and flame retardant layer
- Janka hardness rating 1360.
