Sophisticated single strip flooring (i.e. 1-strip) with a matte finish. Elegant and beautiful. Quality: We use only the highest grade STK (select tight knot) Australian Cypress hardwood. Our engineered Australian Cypress flooring is tongue and groove, and end matched. It has a thick wear layer of 5/32" (4 mm) - twice as thick as most others out there! “Single strip” means that there is one strip of Australian Cypress bonded onto the sub-core of each board, giving a wide-board, elegant look.

2-strip = 2 of 3-3/4" veneers of Australian Cypress integrated side-by-side into a wide plank. 3-strip is the same process using 3 of 2-1/2" veneers per board.
Compared with the Natural color at left of the photo, “Misty” has a very faint milky wash through the finish; “Heather” has an extremely subtle muted tint through the finish; “Twilight” has the slightest smokey tint through the finish.

EXPLAINER: 2-strip and 3-strip engineered Australian Cypress flooring means that strips of Australian Cypress that are narrower than the total plank width are side-bonded onto a much wider sub-board. This provides a much-loved traditional appearance in a wide board for fast installation. For non-bulk orders below 600+ sq ft, please note our 200 sq ft minimum plus freight. |
